Jim Lennon is, first and foremost, a patent litigator with over two decades of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigations throughout the United States, from a base of operations in the patent-centric District of Delaware. Jim has repeatedly been recognized as a top IP litigator by the likes of Super Lawyers®, Martindale-Hubbel, and Avvo. Jim has moderated multiple judicial panels on patent litigation and maintains his competitive advantage as a strategic advisor by continuing to prosecute patent applications in a range of technologies to create robust yet efficient global IP portfolios for his innovative client-base. Jim’s experience as a geologist for the DuPont Company revealed an aptitude for learning a wide range of technologies, as well as ability to translate esoteric scientific concepts to non-technical audiences, vital skills for the next phase of his career, as patent attorney.

In addition to running point on several patent litigations, Jim has considerable trial experience examining and defending key fact and expert witnesses. Jim also often serves as a local counsel on litigations in the District of Delaware, where his experience as lead counsel offers unmatched insight to out-of-state co-counsel. Finally, Jim serves as the primary legal advisor to several small and mid-tier businesses whose competitive advantage in their industries are built on the innovations Jim helped to patent.
