Veronica M. Schad is an Associate at Devlin Law Firm LLC. Prior to working at Devlin Law Firm, Ms. Schad interned in the Global Patents Group at GlaxoSmithKline, where she worked on patent prosecution and complex biopharmaceutical patent litigation matters. Ms. Schad also previously clerked for the Honorable G. Michael Green in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, where she was exposed to a variety of civil litigation proceedings.
Prior to her legal career, Ms. Schad worked for over three years at the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate research assistant in a virology lab headed by Dr. Sara Cherry. Ms. Schad’s focus of study was the role of nuclear transport genes as restriction factors for viral infection.
Ms. Schad has worked throughout her law school career with several pro bono services, including Philadelphia Legal Assistance in its Family Law Unit, where she has represented indigent populations in custody, support, and protection from abuse matters.
